El artículo presenta los principales resultados de un modelo de equilibrio general aplicado a México, elaborado para cuantificar los posibles impactos en la producción y comercio agropecuarios que traería consigo la firma de un tratado de libre comercio norteamericano. También se discuten los límites y potencialidades de tales modelos.
