
The study analyzes language and diaspora factors of the ethnic political mobilization of the Crimean Tatar ethnic group. In a broad sense, the ethnic political mobilization means group readiness for action or actions themselves. Ethnic communities are the focus of ethnopolitical research as groups. The paper notes the significance of the native language in the people’s memory in the politicization of ethnici-ty. Based on statistical analysis, the author substantiates the claims of the Crimean Tatar politicized ethnicity to its national state entity. The research shows the development process of diaspora of this ethnic group, which is the source of the national movement. The study provides the basic characteristics of the waves of this population emigration from the Crimean Peninsula and identifies the main points of immigration. The author concludes that the Crimean Tatar language plays a great role in eth-nic political mobilization of the Crimean Tatars as an ethnic group.
