Many fault tolerant control applications consider a set of faults that is known in advance. Passive and active fault tolerance schemes aim at guaranteeing stability and performances for the whole set, differing by the level of simplicity and performance they allow. Based on a reliable control approach, this paper proposes to implement several controllers, each of them dedicated to a subset of faults, for the fault tolerant control of LTI systems subject to actuator outages.
