Política externa russa no «interméstico»: uma abordagem construtivista

Abstract

Starting from a constructivist approach to Russian foreign policy this article analyses the main lines of Russian politics at the ‘intermestic’, i.e. at the intersection of the international and the domestic, and in a combination of material and ideational elements. The article looks at the evolution of Russian foreign policy seeking to understand the micro lines of actuation preferred by the authorities in the exercise of foreign policy and that contribute to the macro objetive always present in the domestic and foreign discourse of Russia’s recognition as a great power. The text maps the central characterizing elements of Russian foreign policy, identifes new trends in discourse and action, and analyses in which way these contribute (or not) to the macro objetive.
