Partindo de uma abordagem construtivista à política externa russa, ‑ este artigo analisa as linhas fundamentais das políticas russas no «interméstico», ou seja, na interseção entre o internacional e o doméstico, e numa lógica de combinação de elementos materiais e ideacionais. O texto olha a evolução da política externa russa procurando perceber que linhas micro de atuação têm sido preferidas pelas autoridades no exercício da sua política externa e que contribuem para o macro‑objetivo sempre presente no discurso doméstico e externo de reconhecimento da Rússia como grande potência. Começa por traçar os elementos centrais caracterizadores da política externa russa, identifica novas tendências no discurso e nas ações, e analisa de que modo estas contribuem (ou não) para o objetivo macro.
Starting from a constructivist approach to Russian foreign policy this article analyses the main lines of Russian politics at the ‘intermestic’, i.e. at the intersection of the international and the domestic, and in a combination of material and ideational elements. The article looks at the evolution of Russian foreign policy seeking to understand the micro lines of actuation preferred by the authorities in the exercise of foreign policy and that contribute to the macro objetive always present in the domestic and foreign discourse of Russia’s recognition as a great power. The text maps the central characterizing elements of Russian foreign policy, identifes new trends in discourse and action, and analyses in which way these contribute (or not) to the macro objetive.
