Colpocephalum phalcoboeni sp. n. is described from the type host Phalcoboenus albogularis Gould (Falconiformes) from Chile. Following a revisional study of the species of Colpocephalum from the Falconiformes (Price and Beer, 1963), I recently received from Dr. K. C. Emerson a collection of 20 Colpocephalum taken from Phalcoboenus albogularis Gould. These lice represented two species: nine females of C. maculatum Piaget and four females, seven males of an undescribed species. Female Colpocephalum phalcoboeni sp. n.
