The provenance of the genusDiandrolyra, described in 1906 from cultivation, was not known until the discovery of several new species in the eastern coastal forests of Brazil. A description and illustration is given of one of these,Diandrolyra tatianae, thus far collected in the states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
