
Bill Juraschek grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned his B.A. and M. A. in mathematics from St. Mary's University. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics education from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974 under Ralph Cain. Since 1975 he has been at the University of Colorado at Denver where he works with preservice and inservice teachers, encouraging them to include more geometry and humor when teaching mathematics.
