
Within tertiary education in the Netherlands educational evaluation at course level and also at curriculum level is becoming increasingly normal. Up till now, this aspect of the process of quality control and improvement has not been handled systematically within the framework of institutional policy. An initial step has been taken at the Free University, Amsterdam, with the introduction of AMOS: Analysis Model pertaining to the quality of Education within Faculties (in Dutch: Analyse Model voor het Onderwijs in Studierichtingen).
