Statistical Models for Nondestructive Evaluation

Abstract

Les methodes de tests non destructifs (TND) sont utilisees depuis longtemps pour les etudes de securite et de duree de vie des structures complexes et de leurs composants. Des formes multiples d'analyses statistiques des donnees de fiabilite des TND existent dans la bibliographie. Le present article passe en revue d'une maniere generale les difficultes qui se manifestent dans la conception et l'analyse des experiences de TND et le traitement de leurs donnees, et detaille les modeles qui sous-tendent les analyses de fiabilite. Une importance particuliere est donnee a l'interpretation, ainsi qu'a la strategie statistique en general. Sont aussi presentes les resultats theoriques qui associent la fiabilite des TND a la qualite des materiaux et a la duree de vie des composants. Ces resultats justifient le choix de la fonction de probabilite de detection parmi celles d'augmentation du taux de panne.
