With the wave of university occupations that took place in 2016, when they were launched in institutions in Ceará, public notes were released by student-occupiers. In these texts, taken as narratives about themselves oriented towards public communication, perspectives are articulated on the agendas defended and the actions carried out. Considering the textualities that underpin each fuse note of occupations in 26 academic units of 5 institutions in Ceará, we carried out a theoreticalmethodological exercise with textual networks in order to highlight the narrative propositions; and, with them, discuss both the uses of this textual form for public relations, and the shifts built from the context and political incidence to take a position on the event.
