Abstract This paper aims to determine the aspects of interpersonal skills for librarians and how to build good interpersonal skills. Meanwhile, interpersonal skills are the ability to interact effectively and efficiently. Therefore, interpersonal skills are absolutely needed by each person in living life, especially in the academic and workplace. One of the professions that often deal with other people is librarian. For this reason, librarians must equip themselves with interpersonal skills including communication skills, emotional intelligence, teamwork, negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation as well as problem solving and decision making. Basically everyone is born with interpersonal skills and this can be developed by being an active listener, respecting others, always smiling, etc. Keywords: skills; interpersonal; librarian Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek-aspek keterampilan interpersonal bagi pustakawan dan bagaimana caranya membangun keterampilan interpersonal yang baik. Sementara keterampilan interpersonal merupakan kemampuan berinteraksi secara efektif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu keterampilan interpersonal mutlak dibutuhkan oleh setiap individu dalam menjalani kehidupan, terlebih di dunia akademik dan pekerjaan. Salah satu profesi yang sering berhadapan dengan orang lain adalah pustakawan. Untuk itu pustakawan harus membekali dirinya dengan keterampilan interpersonal meliputi keterampilan berkomunikasi, kecerdasan emosional, kerja tim, negoisasi, resolusi konflik dan mediasi serta pemecahan masalah dan pengambilan keputusan. Pada dasarnya setiap individu terlahir dengan keterampilan interpersonal dan hal ini dapat dikembangkan dengan cara menjadi pendengar yang aktif, menghargai orang lain, senantiasa tersenyum, dll.Kata kunci: keterampilan; interpersonal; pustakawan
