Postmoderne Grenzüberschreitungen – Die Metalepse als Symptom der Gegenwartskultur

Abstract

Sonja Klimeks Publikation Paradoxes Erzählen. Die Metalepse in der phantastischen Literatur verspricht ihrem Leser eine Aufarbeitung und Typologisierung des von Gérard Genette 1972 etablierten Begriffes der Metalepse sowie eine kulturwissenschaftliche Untersuchung dieser paradoxen Erzählphänomene. Sie bietet im ersten Teil die Erarbeitung einer narratologischen Terminologie, im zweiten Teil unternimmt sie den komparatistisch und interdisziplinär angelegten Versuch, paradoxen Erzählphänomenen als Teil der zeitgenössischen Kultur mit philosophiegeschichtlichen und erkenntnistheoretischen Betrachtungen zu Leibe zu rücken. Die Studie stellt sich dabei – nicht zuletzt auf Grund der eigenen, argumentativ unvereinbaren Methodenvielfalt – als irritierend heterogenes Gesamtwerk heraus.
