Abstract

Autor podjął próbę przybliżenia życiorysu księdza kanonika Antoniego Lipowskiego, który w historiografii kościelnej występuje przede wszystkim jako proboszcz parafii Przemienienia Pańskiego w Zuzeli oraz szafarz sakramentu chrztu Stefana Wyszyńskiego – późniejszego arcybiskupa metropolity gnieźnieńskiego i warszawskiego, prymasa Polski. Tymczasem w życiu pracowitego duszpasterza udało się ustalić wiele innych epizodów, które rzucają więcej światła na jego dzieciństwo, środowisko rodzinne oraz posługę w kilku parafiach.
