Abstract

Afyon kuzeybatisinda Bayat ve Bolvadin ilceleri arasinda bulunan calisma alaninin temelini Gec Prekambriyen yasli Ihsaniye formasyonu olusturmaktadir. Ihsaniye formasyonu uzerine taban konglomerasi ile baslayan Permiyen yasli Eldes formasyonu acisal uyumsuzluk ile gelmektedir. ErkenOrta Triyas yasli Kiyir formasyonu, tabanda rekristalize kirectasi cakillarinin yaygin olarak izlendigi bir seviye ile Eldes formasyonu uzerine uyumsuz olarak gelmektedir. Kiyir formasyonu uzerinde ise uyumlu ve gecisli dokanakla Orta Triyas-Kretase yasli Gokceyayla formasyonu bulunmaktadir. Gokceyayla formasyonu, tabanda rekristalize kirectasi-sist ardalanmasindan olusan Pasadag uyesi ve ust seviyelerde dolomit ve dolomitik kirectasinin egemen oldugu Karacacal Tepe uyesinden olusmaktadir. Calisma alaninda, bu temel birimler uzerine en altta Erken Miyosen yasli Bessaray formasyonu ile baslayan ortu birimleri uyumsuzlukla gelmektedir. Bessaray fomasyonu uzerine uyumlu olarak gelen Erken MiyosenPliyosen yasli Akpinar formasyonu ile Erken Miyosen-Pliyosen yasli Seydiler ignimbiritleri birbirleri ile yanal ve dusey gecislidir. Ortu birimleri birbirleri ile uyumsuz dokanakli Pliyosen yasli Yapilikale Tepe volkanitleri ve Pliyosen yasli Erdemir formasyonu ile Kuvaterner yasli aluvyonlarla sonlanmaktadir
