Abstract

La region de ce qui est maintenant le Belouchistan pakistanais et persan etait une partie inactive du monde islamique dans les premiers temps de l'Islam, les renseignements sur son histoire sont tres clairsemes. Le Makrān et Sind formait un gouvernement sous les califes, mais des le IXe siecle de notre ere, il semble qu'il y ait eu des dynasties locales au Makran (la region cotiere) et a Qusdār (dans le nord-est du Belouchistan pakistanais), et on pourrait appeler Madānides la premiere lignee. Leur ethnicite - origine arabe ou souche indo-iranienne indigene - est inconnue. Ils etaient en general sous la dependance des puissances voisines comme les Saffarides et les premiers Ghaznavides, mais vers la fin du XIe siecle ces petites dynasties disparaissent des sources historiques
