GREEK CHURCH FATHERS ON ROMANS 9

Authors: MARTIN PARMENTIER;

GREEK CHURCH FATHERS ON ROMANS 9

Abstract

Summary In this article, methodological questions are discussed concerning the multi-disciplinary study programme on the Relationship between Judaism and Christianity which is based at the Catholic University of Amsterdam. Much of the project deals with historical material. The article discusses the relationship between Talmudic and Patristic studies, which cover more or less the same period but at present do not seem to have much common ground. Then, the author's project on Romans 9 and the questions which it raises is introduced.
