Abstract

&nbsp;Linguoculturology explores the relationship between the language and culture of the people, reveals the specifics of the mentality, cultural values and traditions reflected in the speech and behavior of native speakers. Recently, scientists have been solving the problem of a linguocultural approach to teaching linguistic disciplines, in particular Russian as a foreign language, the search for a solution to which leads to integrated language and culture teaching. The article suggests practical approaches to improve the effectiveness of interlanguage and intercultural communication, which are used by teachers of the Russian language at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
