The main thrust of this study was to evaluate community environmental education programmes and sustainable forest management in Biase Local Government Area in Cross River State. To achieve the purpose of this study, three hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Literature review was carried out accordingly. A qualitative descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. A sample of two hundred (200) respondents was randomly selected for the study. The selection was done through simple random sampling technique. The questionnaire was subjected to face validation by the supervisor and experts in educational research and statistics. The reliability estimate of the instrument was established through the test retest method of reliability. Pearson product moment correlation analysis was adopted to test the hypothesis directing the study. The 0.05% level of significance was used for the statistical testing of each of the hypothesis. The result of the analyses revealed that community advocacy, awareness and people's participation significantly relate with sustainable forest management.
