Loss reduction in power system using algorithm is one of the important tasks in the operation and control of power system. This paper presents a well-organized and consistent evolutionary-based approach to solve real power problem. The proposed method employs evolutionary algorithm for optimal settings of reactive power dispatch control variables. The proposed method has been tested on the IEEE 30-bus test system with different objectives that reflect power losses minimization, fuel cost minimization. After observing simulation results, it is expressed by differential evolution/ evolutionary approach, which has been adjusted. In such a way it will give better convergent time than other optimization methods.
