A Review of Wind Energy Conversion System

Abstract

Wind power has been utilised as a supply of power for several centuries. The wind electricity experienced a noteworthy pace within the past few decade due to depleting archetypal capitals and increasing environmental concerns. Wind power generation has become a trustworthy and economical for power generation. The life span of contemporary wind power turbines are currently 20-25 years, which is reminiscent of several different standard power generation technologies. The researchers and scientist are gone through arduous study and experimentation to find out the clarification for abundant utilization of wind power. Our everyday activity is deeply based upon energy, hereafter the effort towards research is extremely sensitive and important. The outcome of extensive research, wind power is being extensively used for power generation. This paper make a short review of wind energy system with highlighting aerodynamics structure, mechanical aspects, and different electro-mechanical control strategies. The decisive survey of ongoing research and upcoming possible perfections for wind energy system have been talk over.
