A Study and Design Construction of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) to Operate on Wind Energy

Abstract

It involves about a study on wind turbine especially vertical wind turbine. The design development of vertical non contact magnetic wind turbine is under study and consideration. With the aid of plywood material a vertical wind turbine has been prepared. Instead of bearing, the contactless magnets are utilized for holding and rotation of the turbine. Such turbine under study, design, development has been taken under consideration for domestic use as well as at the divider of the link road or on the overhead bridge or in the bus or railway stations. The horizontal wind turbines are heavy and bulky in construction. So it has been worked considering the latest trend of technology about vertical wind turbine.
