“India lives in its Villages”- Mahatma Gandhi. India consists nearly 6,500,000 villages, as per last census 2011 identified that 68.8% of population of our country and 72.4% of workforce lives in village areas. Today two third of the households and 70% workforce still lives in the villages only. Rural entrepreneurship will help to develop the rural areas through maximum utilization of available local resources (Nwankwo, F.O. & Okeke, C.S., 2017) the only way to eliminate poverty, unemployment, to improve the rural infrastructure and rural economic development through rural entrepreneurship. This study investigates the major common obstacles encountered by rural entrepreneurs, opportunities from rural entrepreneurship. It is also focused on the remedial measures to solve the problems faced by rural entrepreneurship like, financial, management, technology, production and marketing etc.,
