Innovation and Talents Ecosystem in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Abstract

This paper was presented at the 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Talent Cooperation Forum, sponsored by the Chinese State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) and Shenzhen, China, Municipal Government and held in Hong Kong on 17 April 2018. It considers the macro-economic situation in the Greater Bay Area, the establishment of a talent ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area, and proposes the creation of two new institutions: a Greater Bay Area Research Center on the Quality of Life, and a new think tank, an Institute on Greater Bay Area Integration.
