Research has evaluated the links between systems of High Performance Work Practices and a firm’s performance within the management level. Author of the Impact of Human Resources Management Practices On Turnover, Productivity, and Corporate Financial Performance by Mark A. Huselid, sampled nearly one thousand firms that have indicated high performance practices have an economically and statistically impact on intermediate employee outcomes and corporate financial management. High Performance Work Practices is reliant on their interrelationships and links with competitive strategy. In addition, research has shown High Performance Work practices has decreased employee turnover and increased productivity, which exemplifies the financial aspect of keeping employee cost down.
