In the context of the abolition of internal border controls, Romania has taken steps to implement this new vision, which is the creation of the International Police Cooperation Centre (IPCC). CCPI is the national central authority in international police cooperation specialized in sharing intelligence to combat international crime. Internationally, in recent years, this body has proven efficiency through many missions that were organized and made in cooperation with other authorities in the Member States, the purpose being to identify and arrest a large number of criminals.
