Abstract: Syllabus is much more than a list of topics to be covered in a class. A good syllabus provides information about the class as whole including minor things as well as detailed information. In this dynamic world, the syllabus must be reviewed and modified as per the requirements. The CBSE Accountancy syllabus at Senior Secondary level puts emphasis on developing basic understanding about accounting information and its use in the conduct of business operations. So, analysis of Accountancy syllabus has been done with some suggestions which may be useful in developing better and effective syllabus.
