Abstract

This paper is translation of KALAM-I-FAQIR (PUNJABI) A COLLECTION OF POETICAL COMPOSITIONS of Khayam-i-Punjab and Baba-i-Punjabi Dr. Faqir Muhammad Faqir.The English Translation and Commentary by me has been made under the supervision and guidance of the maternal grandson of Baba-i-Punjabi, Professor Muhammad Junaid Akram. He is presently the Principal of the Standard College, Lahore, the Editor: Monthly Punjabi International, Lahore and the Secretary: Bazm-i-Faqir, Pakistan. The contribution and services of Bazm-i-Faqir in the Punjabi literature is worthy of full appreciation. Baba-i-Punjabi has left a legacy which turned every street of Punjab remembering him with thanks. His name will be long cherished and he will be remembered for centuries in the channels of History. He was ' A Man of the Century in Punjabi Literature' by all international standards.
