Abstract

This article addresses the theoretical basis of emission trading, its implication, origin, basic content, procedure and its implementation basis. Then the author clarifies the advantages and disadvantages of emission trading as well as its countermeasure analysis. In the end, the article deals with the pilot project of Sino-America cooperating emission trading program and its assessment.
