The paper consists of the Introduction to the Title and the concept of Beneficial Legislation. Interpretation of Persons With Disability (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 is a legislation which has been enacted with a view to give a special benefit to the disabled or differently able people. This legislation is a special legislation and deals with various provisions to prevent and protect the People with Disability.This paper also deals with the Interpretation of the Legislation and Illustrating various Judicial Pronouncements and interpretation done by the Apex Court and the High Court.
