Abstract

The article discusses the necessity of establishing the ecological compensation system in China and its function. It points out that the ecological system specifically indicates the principle of using natural resources with compensation. The author addresses the conflicts of interests between upstream and downstream in fields of ecological compensation in river basin and the ecological compensation of resources in woods etc. He also offers different positions on this system. The article also discusses typical cases, analyzes the legislation on ecological compensation system in China and its limitation, and offers some constructive opinion.
