¿Apropiación o canibalismo?

Abstract

En este texto se aborda la cuestión de la apropiación del objeto en la obra de arte a partir de una mirada cruzada con las relaciones con el archivo del acto antropofágico en Latinoamérica, entendido como un acto inmerso en una particular manera de movilizar formas de subjetividad y de resistencia. Esto implica entender la apropiación no como un gesto artístico de adoptar la apariencia y negar la funcionalidad del objeto, sino como la inscripción de una relacionalidad entre formas de subjetividad en conflicto vía el objeto en la obra. Ello implica revisar el planteamiento heredado del apropiacionismo, explorar las formas en que la antropofagia implicó una manera de constituir la subjetividad y la transgresión y, finalmente, mostrar cómo dicha forma de transgresión puede leerse en algunas motivaciones del arte colombiano.
