Abstract

The author of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC), the Spanish Council for Scientific Research, talked about the network of 96 CSIC libraries, offering access to 1.5 million items, 46,000 periodicals (25% of which are online) and 11,000 maps. 18 staff manage the network, maintaining the catalogue and coordinating purchase and management of print and digital collections. http://www.csic.es
