
RESUMEN : En este articulo se defiende la importancia del derecho a la educacion inclusiva para la construccion de una sociedad en la que exista igualdad de oportunidades independientemente de las caracteristicas personales, sociales, culturales o de genero de cada persona. El articulo se enfoca especialmente en las personas con discapacidad y sostiene que garantizar el derecho a la educacion inclusiva es la puerta de entrada al derecho a una vida independiente. Ademas, se hace mencion a la situacion actual del derecho a la educacion inclusiva y la vida independiente en el contexto espanol, y la importancia de los agentes sociales para lograr la garantia de los mismos. ABSTRACT : This article claims the importance of the right to inclusive education for the construction of a society with equal opportunities regardless of personal, social, cultural and gender characteristics of each person. The article focuses especially on persons with disabilities and supports that ensure the right to inclusive education is the gateway to the right to independent living. Furthermore, it remarks the current situation of the right to inclusive education and independent living in the Spanish context, and the importance of the social partners to achieve the insurance of them.
