Nezara viridula (L.) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae)’nın Besin Tercihine Zamanın Etkisi

Abstract

  Bu çalışmada Nezara viridula (L.) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae)’nın biber, domates ve fasulye bitkileri arasındaki tercihine zamanın etkisi ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Zararlının besin tercihi üzerine zamanın etkisi, bireyler üç farklı bitkinin de bulunduğu kafes içerisine salındıktan sonra 1., 4., 8. ve 24. saatlerdeki her bitkinin gövde, yaprak veya meyvesi üzerinde ve bitki dışında bir yerde bulunan bireylerin ortalama sayıları ve bitkileri tercih eden bireyler içerisinde her bir bitkideki bireylerin oranları kullanılarak biyolojik dönemlere göre ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Denemeler sonbahar ve ilkbahar başlarında İzmir ve çevresindeki çeşitli konukçu bitkilerden toplanan N. viridula’nın ergin bireylerinden elde edilen bireyler kullanılarak 25±1ºC sıcaklık, %45±5 orantılı nem ve aydınlanma süresi 16:8 saat (Aydınlık:Karanlık) olan koşullara göre hazırlanmış iklim odasında yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre, N. viridula’nın II. nimf dönemi dışındaki tüm biyolojik dönemlerindeki besin tercihi üzerine zamanın etkisinin olmadığı ortaya konmuştur. Ancak, II. nimf dönemindeki bireylerin 1. saat ile 24. saat sonundaki tercihlerinin birbirinden farklı olmasına rağmen 4. ve 24. saat sonundaki tercihleri arasında fark bulunmamıştır.
