Estilos parentales y creencias irracionales en universitarios de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo relacionar los estilos parentales y creencias irracionales en universitarios de Lima Metropolitana. Se realizó un estudio de estrategia asociativa, de diseño correlacional simple y comparativo no causal. La muestra estuvo constituida por 139 universitarios entre edades de 18 a 45 años escogidos por un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia a quienes se aplicaron la escala Parental Bonding Instrument (P.B.I.) (Guzmán, 2009) y la escala Registro de Opiniones forma A (REGOPINA) (Melis et al., 2001). Se evidencia que existen correlaciones significativas en las dimensiones de Estilos Parentales de Sobreprotección padre y Sobreprotección madre con el total de escala de Creencias Irracionales y sus dimensiones de Aprobación, Perfeccionismo, Castigo, frustración y Angustia. Asimismo, se comparó variables según sexo.
