Celos y estilos de apego adulto en estudiantes universitarios de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract

El propósito de este estudio consistió en establecer una relación entre los celos y los tipos de apego adulto en estudiantes universitarios, quienes residen en Lima Metropolitana. El estudio sigue una estrategia asociativa, de tipo correlacional y con diseño de cohorte transversal. El muestreo utilizado fue no probabilístico con estrategia de bola de nieve, conformada por 270 universitarios, de los cuales el 60% fueron mujeres (n = 163) y el 40% hombres (n = 107), que oscilan entre las edades de 18 y 25 años. Para medir las variables se utilizó el Inventario Multidimensional de Celos y la Escala de estilos de apego adulto. Los resultados muestran que existe relación negativa entre las dimensiones de celos y los tipos de apego adulto. Además, se determinó que hay diferencias significativas entre el tiempo de duración de las relaciones y los celos. Asimismo, no se encontraron diferencias significativas entre el tiempo de duración de las relaciones y el tipo de apego. En conclusión, el apego seguro se relaciona a una mayor confianza, menor dolor y egoísmo. El apego ansioso se relaciona a un mayor dolor, enojo y menor confianza. Por último, el apego evitativo está relacionado con mayor intriga, enojo y menor dolor.
