Las agrociencias como soporte a una producción agropecuaria sostenible: visión ecosistémica

Abstract

Los sistemas productivos agropecuarios impactan de manera local, rural, regional y global. En la actualidad, las formas de vida existentes, las condiciones del planeta tierra y sus interacciones con el resto del universo, implican que hoy más que nunca se generen situaciones y actividades que permitan reflexionar, analizar y crear estrategias que lleven a prolongar la existencia de una forma sostenible y saludable de la humanidad y de todos los seres vivos. En esta obra se presentan algunas de las reflexiones generadas a partir del análisis de los paisajes rurales sostenibles; además, se hacen consideraciones sobre los riesgos en la agricultura y la necesidad de comprenderlos cuando se pretendan generar políticas o proyectos. También, se analizan los paisajes sostenibles en sistemas productivos de frutales, el cultivo de la palma y las alternativas para manejar los residuos de las cosechas forestales, que se generan.
