Supplementation to the MRSMedium for the Cultivation of Fastidious Beer Spoilage Bacteria.

Abstract

With the new medium, we can easily cultivate and count some of the most fastidious bacterial beer spoilers, at last strains coming from collections. However, these results give to us a hope to get good performances for the retrieving of the native strains from spoilt beer or yeast. In that case, it will be necessary to add an inhibitor for yeast overgrowing, with the hope that the supplemented medium will retains its good performances for the detection and the growing of spoiling bacteria. With the new medium, we can easily cultivate and count some of the most fastidious bacterial beer spoilers, at last strains coming from collections.
