Abstract

Subject of the graduate qualification work: "Gas turbine engine of 16 MW. Bachelors graduate qualification work is performed with the purpose of designing a gas turbine engine (GTE) for installation on the gas turbine plant on the basis of GTN-16. Tasks performed in the process of aircraft gas turbine engine research: 1. Study of GTN-16 design. 2. Thermal calculation of the engine with a choice of an optimum variant. 3. 3. Calculation of gas-dynamic parameters of GTN-16. 4. Strength calculation of the blade and disk of the last stage, as well as the LPT rotor. I consider this work as urgent as, because of the departure of the major players in the turbine market industry needs to modernize the existing fleet of turbine engines. The modernization option is the most economical and fastest.
