Abstract

The object of the study is LLC "Bin". The aim of the final qualifying work is to manage the project portfolio. Project management technologies have emerged as an alternative development option in economic systems, due to the need to build the process of transition from the existing state of the system to a new, more optimal one. Constantly growing competition in the market entails the search for effective mechanisms of strategic development, which today are formed in two main directions: process, which arose in the process of evolution of the functional approach in the process technology of organization of activity; project-oriented, focused on the formation of mechanisms that implement the processes of development and introduction of new products, technologies or services. In the course of the work, the aim of which is to study the problem of project portfolio management, all the tasks of the study were solved. It was found that the project as a special management technology is characterized by a set of features: focus on achieving specific, pre-defined goals, indicating the methodology for assessing the planned results of activities in the form of indicators of qualitative and quantitative nature; development of the concept of activity management, based on the development of phased measures to achieve the goals; regulation of the course of the project and its boundaries in the form of fixing the beginning and end.
