Master's thesis is dedicated to a question the design power supply of railway substation for their electrification and future increase amount of couples freight trains, improve on railroad technological infrastructure. Feasibility study for possible modification is completed, analysis of steady state electrical grid and reactive power balance are carried out for recommended external power supply scheme. Short-circuit current calculation is executed. Accident risk, which tend power demand limit on railway substation, is calculated for valuation practicability of building additory power transmission lines. Implementation of the proposed power supply will allow electricity demand, which is necessary for direction of track Sonkovo - Khvoynaya - Budogoshch - Kirishi - Mga, also increase electric reliability.
