Abstract

The training manual corresponds to the content of the discipline of the federal state educational standard for major 10.05.01 “Computer Security”. The training manual includes theoretical information and laboratory work on the subject “Methods of algebraic geometry in cryptography”, studied by students of the Institute of Cybersecurity and Information Protection of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The authors present general information from the theory of elliptic curves and consider peculiarities of their application in cryptography. The manual can be used in the training of specialists in major 10.05.01 “Computer Security”.
