The training manual corresponds to the educational standard of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University” in the bachelor's degree program 13.03.02 “Electrical Power Engineering”. The manual is devoted to the issues of automation for computer formation of mathematical description of transient processes in electrical power systems. It presents methodological material and guidelines for performing computational tasks in the discipline “Mathematical problems of power engineering”. It contains instructions on working with the computing complex “RITM”, which are used to perform calculations and laboratory practical tasks in the disciplines “Theory of automatic regulation in the electrical power industry”, “Converter equipment”, “Modeling elements of energy systems”. It is intended for students, graduate students, and teachers of electrical engineering university faculties.
