Abstract

El presente articulo indaga en la relacion entre teorias explicitas e implicitas de la Inteligencia. En base a la investigacion de Mugny & Carugati (1989) se diseno un cuestionario auto-administrado que respondieron 286 sujetos. Los resultados encontrados son congruentes con las principales hipotesis postuladas: Es posible hablar de un solapamiento general entre las teorias explicitas e implicitas. Similar a lo que ocurre actualmente en el discurso de los expertos, en las respuestas de los sujetos la Inteligencia aparece como un atributo relacionado con la adaptacion a las normas sociales y variables contextuales son importantes a la hora de definirla. Sin embargo, concepciones basadas en la “ideologia del dotado” tienen aun una fuerte presencia, lo que confirma que determinismo biologico y determinismo sociologico son los principales ejes alrededor de los cuales se organizan las argumentaciones. Del mismo modo, la familiaridad y la identidad social se refuerzan como principios organizadores de una representacion social. La distancia con el objeto, medida como la creencia en las diferencias de inteligencias como un problema sin o con solucion, y el nivel de implicacion con la problematica, maestros y no maestros, se observan como elementos discriminantes al momento de apoyar dimensiones especificas.
