
Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s name is associated with serious changes in the life of Western society in the second half of the twentieth century. Pastor Bonhoeffer was not afraid to go far in his statements. One of his most famous ecclesiastical and social insights concerns the «religionless Christianity» project, the principal features of which are dis- cussed in the article. The main conclusion is that the “religionless Christianity” proj- ect, conceived by the author for the extensive missionary purpose in practice appears to be impossible.
