Dartmouth OER grant initiative materials

Abstract

The Dartmouth Open Education Initiative was developed in early 2019 to increase the awareness and use of open educational resources (OER) by Dartmouth instructors. It provides grant funding (provided by the Dartmouth College Library and the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning) and guidance to support Dartmouth instructors in adopting, adapting, and creating OER for use in Dartmouth courses. This community resource was created as part of my participation in the SPARC Open Education Leadership Program in 2018-2019. It includes materials from the Open Education Initiative that can help other open education advocates to create an open education initiative at their own institutions. These are licensed openly and can be modified for use by others.
