Abstract

Tip fakultesi ogrencileri gerek universite egitimi suresince gerekse mezuniyet sonrasi sahada her an acil bir olgu ile karsilasabilirler. Her hekim mezun olmadan once ilkyardim bilgisi ile donatilmali ve temel yasam destegi becerilerini kazanmalidir. Bu beceriler hekimin kendine olan guveninin gelismesinde de katki saglayacaktir. Bu arastirma tip fakultesi birinci sinifta verilen ilkyardim egitiminin etkinliginin degerlendirilmesi amaciyla yapilmistir. Bu calisma, once-sonra duzenlemeli mudahale (deneysel) tipi bir arastirmadir. Arastirmacilar tarafindan hazirlanan sosyodemografik ozellikleri sorgulayan bir anket ile birlikte her konunun teorik-pratik egitimleri oncesinde (on-test) ve sonrasinda (son-test) testler uygulandi. Uygulanan testler uygulamali beceri egitimlerinin verildigi dort konudan olusan (temel yasam destegi (TYD), kanama kontrolu, sok ve koma durumunun taninmasi ve ilkyardim, kiriklara ilk yaklasim ) olmak uzere dort ayri testten olustu. Egitim oncesi ve sonrasi degerlendirme yapilan dort konu ile ilgili egitim sonrasi test puan ortalamalarinin egitim oncesi test puan ortalamalarindan yuksek oldugu belirlendi. Temel yasam destegi ile ilgili yapilan egitim sonrasi testten alinan puan ortalamalari 20 yas alti ogrencilerde 20 yas ve ustune gore anlamli duzeyde yuksekti. Kanama kontrolu ile ilgili yapilan egitim sonrasi testten alinan puan ortalamalari 20 yas alti ogrencilerde 20 yas ve ustune gore anlamli duzeyde yuksekti. Kanama kontrolu ile ilgili yapilan egitim oncesi ve egitim sonrasi testten alinan puan ortalamalari kad inlarda erkeklere gore anlamli duzeyde yuksekti. Egitim sonunda ogrencilerden alinan olumlu geribildirimler, teorik egitim oncesi ve sonrasi yapilan degerlendirmelerde belirlenen anlamli puan artislari Tip Fakultesi birinci sinifinda uygulanan ilkyardim egitiminin basariyla uygulanabilecegi ve ogrenci motivasyonuna olumlu katkilarda bulunacagi kanaatine varilmistir.
