Nuevos registros de pucciniales de Colombia, incluyendo Uredendo anthurii sp. nov. y Uromyces colombiana sp. nov.

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir e ilustrar siete nuevos registros de Pucciniales (royas) recolectados en Colombia. Metodología: La determinación taxonómica se realizó por medio de la observación morfológica y la medición de las distintas estructuras del hongo. Resultados: Se encontraron dos nuevas especies de royas, una del género Uromyces sobre Loranthaceae y la otra del género anamórfico Uredendo sobre Araceae; y cinco nuevos registros de especies para Colombia, Milesina murariae, Puccinia araguata, Puccinia verbeniphila, Uredo rubescens y Uromyces mulini. Las siete especies mencionadas fueron halladas en colecciones procedentes de los departamentos de Antioquia, Boyacá, Caldas, Chocó y Tolima y depositadas en el Museo Micológico de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede Medellín (MMUNM). Conclusión: Estos hallazgos contribuyen a mejorar el conocimiento de la biota de Pucciniales, su distribución geográfica y sus ciclos de vida.
