Abstract

Deveria oensino anterior (1Qe 2Qgraus) contribuir paraformar o futuro pesquisador, porem o que sevem fazendo e mais informar do que formar oestudante: o fazer esta dissociado do pensar.Os estudantes brasileiros tem poucos livros emcasa, nao dispoem de laboratorios de ciencianas escolas e sao a grande audiencia da televi-sao. O ensino superior enfatiza mais a atividadede dar aulas do que quaisquer outros objetivos.Ate porque os custos da pesquisa cientifica saoaltos, o que em paises pobres leva ao prejuizoda investigacao e tambem devido a ingerenciade fatores politicos e de conjuntura fora daUniversidade. Nas questoes da dificuldade depesquisa na Universidade, mostra especial-mente a condicao do professor remunerado porhora/aula e propoe a solucao com a implanta-cao efetiva da carreira docente nas escolasparticulares.E de grande valia o que a autora propoe,de forma clara e objetiva.''A formacao em psicologia escolar noexterior e no Brasil" e o que Goncalves enfoca,mostrando o desacordo entre os psicologosescolares quanto a materia de trabalho e seuobjeto de estudo. Em nivel internacional, existeuma controversia se o psicologo escolar e umpsicologo puro ou um educador puro ou umajuncao de ambos. Os termos Psicologia daO livro, organizado pela Dra.Carla Witter,conta com nove capitulos sendo cinco de textosteoricos e quatro de textos de pesquisa, escritospor pesquisadores vinculados a varias universi-dades paulistas.O primeiro capitulo intitulado ''A formacaodo psicologo: consideracoes gerais" e deYukimitsu. Nele considera a importância dapesquisa na formacao do profissional conside-rando que a maior parte dos formados vai paraa atuacao clinica sem uma preparacao acade-mica mais cientifica. Ha uma preponderânciada visao remediativa contra a visao preventiva.Chama a atencao para a preocupacao etica quea universidade deve imprimir e a relevância dapostura pessoal do professor neste sentido, emrelacao aos alunos, aos colegas e a propriauniversidade. A diversidade cultural e bastantelembrada pela autora, na importância da forma-cao: profissionais devem ser mais versateispara atender as variacoes culturais dentro doproprio pais.
