Przymierze z pustynią – na podstawie tomu "Nof galuj ejnajim" Jehudy Amichaja

Abstract

Artykuł Przymierze z pustynią – na podstawie tomu Nof galuj ejnajim Jehudy Amichaja przedstawia obraz Pustyni Judzkiej zawarty w wierszach izraelskiego poety Jehudy Amichaja. W utworach z tego tomu Pustynia Judzka ukazana została nie tylko jako kategoria biologiczno-geograficzna, ale przede wszystkim część wewnętrznego doświadczenia poety. Jest to przestrzeń symboliczna, nasycona zarówno osobistymi wspomnieniami, jak i zbiorową pamięcią wielu pokoleń Żydów, począwszy od czasów Masady aż po XX wiek. Na tej pustyni Amichaj, nawiązując do postaci Nieobecnego Boga, w którego wiarę już wcześniej utracił, prowadzi dialog z żydowską tradycją religijną. Tym jednak, co najbardziej zbliża go do pustyni, jest jej cisza i pustka, ewokująca otwarcie na Niewyrażalne, na świat skał i minerałów, i potężniejszą od antropologii prehistorię Ziemi.
